Yes? Hello?

I have received e-mails from all the UK universities that I applied for.

Except Bath, I think.

UCL, LSE, DURHAM and EXETER have all replied.

I felt so excited looking at the sender address and my heart beats faster (wtg is the past tense for beat? Beat? Beated? ) as I see admissions@ucl.uk or something like tht. Btw, thts nt a real address, so don't bother spamming it.

EVen though it's not any sort of an offer or such, I still feel excited. Cos, it seems like they're acknowledging my existence. harhar.

AS results are out 21st of January.

Everytime I think about it, I get a haemorrhage in my brain and a stroke in my heart and a spasm in my body and my eyes go wonky due to severe stress and panic.

I don't know how to end this post.

I learnt something new today,

In a packed elevator with a funky smell, these two lines come in handy:

Oops! Je pété! *

Moi? Pété? Non! C'est toi!!! **

=)

jwC

* Oops! I farted! (follow up with sheepish smile and get out at the next stop)

** Me? Fart? No! It's YOU!!! (In accusatory tone)

Or, you could just discreetly fan the smell away from you and glance suspiciously at the other occupants of the lift. harhar.

EDIT: You know how I know how to spell the word haemorrhage? I typed it into microsoft word and used the spelling aid. harhar. Good stuff, that Microsoft word.

an open letter to TGV , Sunway Pyramid

... and your asscrack manager who will prolly be working the rest of his life in an office behind the popcorn counter:

Today, you wasted an hour of my life, gave me a significant level of stress, a dampened mood and a ignited the bitch in me. Not to mention imbedded in me a heavy dislike for TGV.

I came to your cinema today to catch BOLT 3D.

An hour into the show, I was almost enjoying myself, despite the heavy 3D goggles and mediocre 3D effects, when suddenly, half the fking screen turned green.

I tolerated it for 5 seconds, which is 5 seconds too long, and then walked out, quite calmly, to complain to your employees that the screen is being a bitch, and can they please 'fix it now".

It's funny that before i even mentioned the green screen problem, they already knew what had happened. This suggested that similar shit has happened before.

I walk back in and settled down to appreciate what is left of the movie, albeit in a slightly ticked off mood.

Then, you shut down the whole damn thing and presented me with static to keep myself entertained with.

I once again walk out, this time, I'm already pissed.

" Great, now the whole thing is blank," I said.

Your employees apologised profusely.

I felt like punching them in the face even though it's not their fault , but yours. The inefficient, slacking, management team.

I was told to wait while the problem was "fixed".

After robbing me of another 5 minutes of my life on earth, the screen flickered back to life and I put the irritatingly heavy goggles back on.

You know in 3D movies, when you watch it without the goggles, it's sorta blurry around the edges, but with the goggles, it's clear and there's a 3D effect?

Yeah, after your team "fixed" the movie, the screen remained blur even though I had the goggles on.

I was most certain that my contact lenses did not just up and pop out of my eyeballs, so my eyesight should've been perfect.

At this point, I am determined to see the loser manager and ask for a refund.

But, I try to salvage the situation by asking your employee to use my goggles and look at the screen to tell me if they're seeing it blur as well. Cos maybe my rage has defected my vision.

They offered to change my goggles.

Useless. still blur.

One man, a genius you employed,(although, no hard feelings, cos he was being nice and tolerant at that time) used the new pair to look at the movie, then took it off to look, the put it back on, and told me, with confidence:

"MAM, I can see no difference"

w

t

f?

Oh, you can see no difference??? Really?? It is amazing how a human can even function with such an astoundingly high level of stupidity.

" It. Is. Supposed. To. Be. Different. With. The. Glasses. On", said I.

he wisely kept quiet.

So I managed to see the manager, I got my refund, but I did NOT get any compensation , such as free movie tickets or popcorn or aNYTHING at all that indicated that YOU were really sorry for wasting an hour of my life and causing me to be pissed off at the highest level possible.

The funny thing is, although there were only 10 ppl in the cinema or so, NO ONE COMPLAINED. NO ONE. Not even when I issued an invite by saying, very loudly, to the employees " I AM SO ANNOYED. YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME".Numerous times, too. This, should've been the cue for ONE OF THEM to add in "YEAH, ME TOO",

But nope.

None.

I guess that is how you make a profit. Cos some of your customers just cannot be bothered to lodge a complaint against you and your inferior management skills.

If you knew there was a problem with the film, why are you still showing it???

I can only pray that all your customers are like me , demanding and bitchy when time calls for bitchiness.

I'd like to see how you earn a profit when you refund every ticket you sell.

bitches, y'all!

with a universally understood finger gesture,

jwC

EDIT: Ya, and you know, since I was peeved off a little and restless, I went ahead and got my hair cut. Again. Barely a month from the last cut.

Happy New Year 2009

Top: GAP (teehee Fi, Yx, , Rachel, YL, Clarys)

Happy New Year to all!

For those who're going to hit the big 18 this year and be legal to go clubbing and shit like that, congratulations. and remember that MODERATION is the key. The key to what, I don't know. harharhar. Just the key.cos it sounds so smart.

For those who are leaving secondary school and going off to college, be it local or overseas, good luck with that.

And please refrain from taboo-ing the word "SECONDARY SCHOOL" when you're in college and start conforming to the word " HIGH SCHOOL" . please la. Secondary school, high school, wtg still the same right. Don't conform to "HIGH SCHOOL" just to sound more... i don't know. you know yourself la. harhar.

For those who have left their teenage lives behind and are no longer "teens" but have reached the "old age" of 20, I don't know how you're dealing with that, but congratulations, you're one step closer to being a full adult with responsibilities and shiz.

For those who are 19 this year (e.g. moi), I don't know how YOU people feel either, but I feel damn old. 19 19 19 19 19 911 harhar. It just feels... "old".

Unfortunately, with the aging of one year, I'm not any wiser, nor any more mature. I still laugh at stupid jokes and crack even MORE stupid ones, I cry when I don't get my way, the universe still revolves around me, I still don't understand what "house taxes and road taxes" are for, I don't know what a "cukai pintu" is... Basically, I'm the same. Except lazier. and fatter. Definitely fatter, cos my arms look like big slabs of ham in pictures.

edit: oh good. i've weighed myself. After supper no less, and it seems I've actually lost 0.7 Kgs instead of gain weight. I weighed myself 3 times to ensure there're no mistakes, too. yay! I always knew it was the camera's fault.

I can't exactly recall what I've done the whole of 2008, and even if I could I wouldn't, cos it's too much work to remember stuff and blog about my whole year in a single post. besides, you can always press the "previous" option that you see after you've scrolled down to the very end of this page to find out for yourself what I've done in 2008.

I can, however, talk about what I've done with myself this hoilday season. Nothing productive, but a lot of fun times anyhow.

In not much of an order, this December,

I went out with Jack.

Dress: Mng

i went back to Johor, which is the place of birth of he-who-sired-me.

I hated the long car trip even though I slept through 80 % of it.

I saw my grandparents, and I think my grandpa is really cute in that old-man-cute way.

I saw a man care for his father by helping him clean his ears.

I went to Singapore and saw many many Christmas trees. I saw Salvation Army volunteers asking for donations for the needy and donated S$0.30 cos that was all I had and got a calendar card in return which I've now lost.

I came back just in time to celebrate Christmas Eve at the Curve, where I teared up on purpose everytime someone walked by with a Santa hat (which is quite often) cos I didn't have one.

Until someone kind came and cheered me up by buying me my very own snow in an aerosol can (which I later found out was illegally sold).

Top: Somerset Bay

I went to my new house in Princess Town and drew on the walls of my new room.

Then, I went to Taiping where my mom was born and finally fed those monkeys.

I saw a beautiful stream that flows from the mountains and i was closer to nature than I could ever be in the city. Not that I'm complaining, I do agree that sometimes nature is best viewed and appreciated from a distance. Sometimes.

I waded in the cold mountain waters and felt my feet fo temporarily numb from the chill.

my face looks all sorts of wrong here. I suppose it's gravity pulling down on my face.

Top: GAP (secret haha)

Shorts: Forever 21

Bra(cos it's quite obvious here. haha) : La Senza

But mostly, I just slept a lot in Taiping, cos it rains almost everyday and is the perfect weather for snoozing.

top: Jack's shirt

I came back in time to celebrate new year's eve with friends. I also got a free mask cos the theme of the celebration going on at the Curve was masquerade.

the reason y i seldom smile with my lips closed like that.

I took one for everybody and made them wear it too.

barry

I talked to a stranger and took a picture with his Siberian Husky, something I always wanted to do. Not talk to a stranger. I meant take a picture and pat and play with a Siberian Husky.

Dress: Mng

I met an old friend at Santa's Village.

blurry, but it's the only one i've got.

Shoes: Vincci

I watched fireworks go off right on top of me and accidentally kissed my best friend on the lips cos we were both turning toward each other to kiss the other's cheek but ended up kissing lip to lip instead and was stunned for a full 5 seconds before we realised what was wrong.

ham-like arm can be seen in this picture, grossly adding to my general "fat" outlook.

.But best of all, someone gave me an award this Christmas.

And that was how I spent my December. It might not have been productive studies wise, but it was pretty good.

Happy New Year again to all. =) Make resolutions only if you intend to keep them and set out your goals so that you can strive to achieve them in the year ahead.

love

jwC

note: This post was started on New Years day but the internet is so damn slow, and the pictures wouldn't load properly. Even now. SO i didn't resize them harhar.

There were so many monkeys, I couldn't contain myself as I snapped picture after picture with my mobile phone.

I also saw goats!

didn't see any wandering chickens and cows though.

AND! My kampung is not so backward anymore! they've got a new shopping mall and a huge Tesco, and the shopping mall has Sushi King and Kenny Rogers and VIncci and Old Town Kopitiam!

AND!!! my OTHER kampung, Kluang, Johor, has also been going through some changes!! They have a new mall, not opened yet, but I saw a sign for J CO doughnuts! Big Smile

Life will be good, now.

I'm going away again

=.=

I actually really hate long car journeys, cos I get motion sickness really easily.

I can't read in the car, can't play any sort of game, can't watch movies, can't even manage a conversation for too long, and I need a lot, a lot of space to feel motion sick in.

if possible, I need a 3 person space to feel sick in.

And a seat near the window too.

And lots of leg space. Lots = a person could lie on the floor comfortably. That much leg space.

Actually, I just hate long distance travelling. Period. Even when its by plane, (Unless it's in Business or First class, the latter of which I've never had the joy of experiencing) cos the excitement wears off when people start kicking off their shoes in the plane. Which brings me to this.

(continuing my list of things I hate )

11. People who kick off their shoes on the plane even though their feet smell like a wet market and a rubbish strewn back alley combined. These people are INCONSIDERATE, STUPID, usually grossly overweight, mostly MEN and have dead olfactories. I need the barf bag that they usually tuck in the back of the seat in front of you, not because I want to barf from the motion sickness, but because I need to stick my nose and mouth in the bag and breathe that way BECAUSE THE AIR IN THE BAG IS UNPOLLUTED.

hurm...

ok.

Imma be off to Taiping for 3 days. Thing is, the Toyota Alphard is a thing of beauty, allowing people to travel comfortably, with minimal complaints and discrete shoving of elbows and such (people = me) However, today, which is to say, later, there will be 8 people in the vehicle, including family friends instead of the usual 5 (my family).

EIGHT

8IGHT.(haha. creative of me)

I want to die.

Plus, it's so insanely early now, approximately 4 hrs before my usual waking time. (1-2 pm. Sometimes 3 pm, with a record of 4 pm)

Eight.

Somebody's going to be complaining a lot later.

No prizes for guessing who that someone is.

jwC =)

edit: HURM. I hope I get to feed the monkeys at the Taiping lake this time around. All the other times, I either totally forget or I forget the peanuts.

Awaaaay

Hello HELLO

I'm going to Johor tomorrow morning, which is He-who-sired-me's birthplace.

Then on Monday, I'm going to SIngapore, so you guys better not call me or text me . Cos if you call me,it's expensive and if you text me,it'd take me RM1 to reply, which is why I won't reply. harhar.

I'll probably update real often if I bring my laptop, which I'm intending to do. And when I go to Johor, I tend to update a lot. Maybe 3 posts a day. Cos it's so FUNTASTIC in Kluang, Johor! Not a Starbuck, Baskin Robbins or even a Burger King in sight! YAY!!!!

Miss me y'all.

I hate long car trips.

hello handsome.

photobucket being a damn bitch. $%^&*(0

miss me!
